Random: Fleeting July 31, 2008
Thoughts, feelings and impressions can be so.. temporal. But I’m me, and perhaps it can be considered brutal. But ah, that’s subjective.. Isn’t it?
People gossip, sure. Whether you share or listen – who doesn’t indulge in their fair share? Now, if you were Pinocchio.. But back to the point. If you were to join in, and then choose to get all chummy with the focus of the session later – That’s just plain hypocritical isn’t it?
There are the plain obvious. But hey, that’s none of my concern now that I’ve voiced these fleeting thoughts. Good if you understood, too bad if you didn’t.
Have an absolutely smashin’ day.
Back at the Grand Old Lady of Singapore July 29, 2008
Brazil 3 – Singapore 0. I doubt this is the last match she’ll see. How many last(s) has it been since the Tiger Cup?
Well to whoever priced the tickets – You ought to be shot. I reckon the last minute announcement of $30 tickets (at supposedly 10am) were made because of poor ticket sales, and I dare say I’m not alone in thinking that.
But the $60 view we had was nonetheless better, though the Lions could have put in a little more fight and enthusiam. Oh come on! On the other hand, there were 3 goals and card-wise at least, a couple of yellows and one red handed out to Brazil.
And the Man City fan saw Jo. Not too bad I say, not too bad..

Postnote: I’ve been meaning to switch to this photoblogging theme for the longest time. What puts me off is the way the theme works – Only one photo appears in my blog entries. Even in the archives. =( But since I really do like this, plus the fact that I’m clueless with CSS.. I’ll just work with it. Btw, the theme automatically changes the background to complement my photo. =)
Post-postnote: I’ve just realised the theme doesn’t allow emoticons too.

Me, Bro & Sis.
Only managed to sneak this one.

Pretty bride Angelina singing a duet with her hubby at their wedding dinner last Sunday evening.
I forgot to bring my camera, hence the grainy mobile phone shot of the screen behind me. Anyway, I was mentioning to the girls that this could be the start of the barrage of weddings, when you hit that certain age bracket. Kelvin says one per year, please. So.. Who’s next?
Away for holidays? July 23, 2008
Those that are overseas, are overseas. Bangkok, Kaohsiung, whatnot. And this bugger, taunting me with authentic bubble tea.
Neh, no budget for Taiwan.
Postnote: What I do have time for, is watching Friends. Starting from Season 1. Don’t blame Mr Yeow.
Kieron’s 6th Birthday July 21, 2008

Making a wish.
The shy little boy no longer, I actually had a very animated conversation with him over my Swiss pictures. =)
Randomness: Part Something. July 19, 2008
Watching Daisy on TV last night brought back lovely memories of Amsterdam.
I’m going to the August 2 NDP preview. =)
I’m fretting over what shoes to wear tomorrow evening. Wait, correction – I don’t have any shoes to wear tomorrow evening! Arrgh.
Cravings for chawanmushi. I haven’t had Japanese since I returned. Ok, other than shabu-shabu Kai treated me to, but that is not the point. I want chawanmushi.
Ich freue mich auf Dienstag =)
*pats belly* July 18, 2008
I think I’ve been stuffing myself silly this week. Tsk. On top of knocking out for 3 hours mid-afternoon, twice. I am therefore about to list down the various foods I have, and might still have in my digestive tracts.
Tuesday. Was brought to Aston’s (finally), and was chomping on pseudo-bulgogi barely 4 hours later. Then devoured an entire Gelare waffle by myself. *gasp*
Wednesday. Tucked into a typical Bugis steamboat dinner, which was followed by warm chocolate cake at Starbucks. Oh the sins I indulge in.
Friday. Strangely (coughs), I woke up with a growling tummy this morning – which was promptly settled by a dim sum with Gordon and Damian. Har gao 2! Siew mai 2! Char siew pao can lah, also 2! Ambitiously order-happy, but I think we did fine. Ha ha ha..!
I suppose I’m not done for this week. Uncle Francis throwing a homecoming Sunday brunch for me, and then I’ll be attending a wedding dinner later that night. Oh, and I had a Happy Meal for dinner 4 hours ago. But cheese prata, anyone?
