Thanks to Grace =) The tune Sharon has been trying to teach me is the start to Kenny G’s Forever in Love. So there is a continuation – Only that I’ll probably never have the eye-brain-hand coordination to play the rest of it. Ha ha ha..
At our first break time, I already opted for a bottle Coca-cola. It was only 9am! -_- And I only have coke when I’m desperate! I was only mildly rejuvenated during tourism class. Brief respite during lunch, before an interesting group meeting about Coca-cola (again!) that involved only 4 members. I digress, but I need to stress that I didn’t know OPTING OUT was available! Sure, your dissertation comes first! Gah! I really dislike such people! *grumbles* Back to classes.. It was 4, slow, painful hours of pdp in the afternoon. The horrors.
Now tomorrow’s a bit of a weird combination too. Long break + lunch in between lessons. Pfft. And am not looking forward to full day Mondays when language classes start! Better convince me how 4 straight hours of French is suppose to be beneficial, but perhaps I’ll change my mind when the time comes. Hmm..
I had my first serving earlier today! No gripes, other than the fact that IT IS bloody expensive, about 11 francs for a meal.. We all agree the fries taste different, much more crispy too!
It was absolutely crazy at Luzern Bahnhof! Smells of food, beer and strange cigarettes wafted through. Fasnacht’s coming soon, and I quote one of the school staff – The only time the Swiss go crazy! And the revelry apparently starts at 4am! So anyway, according to this lady we met, the Bahnhof celebration was just for the railway.
人山人海! This is only half the lobby!
Weaved in and out of shops in town.
The guys bought more things. Heh! Look at Daniel’s loots lor.
Halfway through, Norman and Daniel came running out after their toilet break. Its snowing! Like any human being who has never seen snow (I assume), I ran out with blatant disregard for my very public display of swaku-ism.
Snow! (Or rather, ice flakes.)
Huge German Shepard, left alone in the boot of random car!
Kai Xiang go first! If he bites, you also first!
We later saw a band decked out in the colours of Luzern, presumbly a rehearsal perhaps?
And a few horses and carriages but this was my favourite!
It’s pretty cold right now where I am, Kastanienbaum, Luzern – averaging about 0 degrees Celsius. Me and Mich are still getting used to the heating, which seems to be at its minimum at night! We have a wonderful view of Mount Pilatus from our presidential suite (top floor bunk).
We’re quite well fed now *rubs tummy*, though there seems to be a lack of vegetables on the menu for now. But its okay, cos I’m tucking into my VERY FRESH salad from Luzern. =D
I do miss Singapore already, especially my family and my dearest. I’ll be back after Christmas okay? *hugs*
