Day 4 - They’ve sprouted much sooner than I expected (Day 2) and look how much they’ve grown!
Somewhere in Singapore.. August 18, 2008
After a hearty meal at an Indonesian place, Girl pokes and nibbles at a leftover cucumber slice. Boy-who-does-not eat-veg points at a forsaken tomato wedge.
Boy: Why don’t you eat the tomato, its good for your skin ma..
Girl: Don’t want.
Boy: How about you eat one and I’ll eat one?
Girl: Okay. (chuckles)
Boy: Damnit.
Boy hesitates, but proceeds to pick up the tomato.
Girl: It’s okay, you don’t have to eat if you don’t want to.
Boy: No I’ll try..
Girl thinks Boy’s expression was priceless. =D
Bugger. August 18, 2008
Carew broke my mug and my man’s heart. Sad until never ask me if I was alright, you know. But yes I’m fine, haha..
Potting around. August 14, 2008
The four-leave clover pot my sister chose and planted when I got back has sprouted already. And so, thought it was a good day to get down to “planting” one of the little flower pots from Amsterdam. Mine are Myosotis, and Google returns them to be forget-me-nots. Hope they’d be happy campers on the kitchen window sill! =)

I muse the record number of couples who will be at the registry today. And how this date actually has actual significance for them.
Everything I could wish for.. August 3, 2008
Is probably contained in this sweet little thing called the Samsung Omnia. (pictures taken from the official webbie) This could possibly my epitome of stylish portability and entertainment on the run.
It’s like plastering Midori (my notebook) + my camera + my presently wonky mobile phone and topping it off with a whole load of other tech goodies. Like thick, sugary goodness of an ass-kicking icing on rich, double chocolate cupcakes. Not that I’ve found that cupcake, but I imagine!
And oh, did I mention its one sweet little thing? Can I have one? Pretty please? I’ll promise I’ll be good for Christmas..! Or my birthday! =)
NDP08 Preview August 3, 2008
First time catching the parade over here, in Marina Bay. Indeed the skyline proved to be a lovely backdrop. =) I’ll upload the photos on my Flickr account tomorrow.
Seating-wise, a little tight.. With the Fun Packs, a couple of inches more leg room was desirable, definitely. Also being seated at one of the side-most sectors left our heads titled at a 45-degree angle for most of the parade.
I think, however much I detest the humidity, how ever many complains I could have.. It still feels great to be back home. And yes, I will say it.. I’m proud to be Singaporean.
